How we work Step 5: Assisting the purchase

When you've found what you were looking for we will guide you through the entire purchase process.

We, with your input, will negotiate an acceptable price and other purchase conditions and verbally reserve the property.
Have the property technically surveyed
Assist and consult on tax-related issues
We can arrange the mortgage that suits you the best
Assist you in setting up a D.O.O. (Croatian Limited) in one day if necessary
We will have the contracts drawn up (a pre-contract where the full amount is not paid) between you and the seller.
Assist you in setting up a local bank account (with internet banking) if necessary
The contract is then signed and exchanged in the presence of a public notary. However, if the buyer is not present, the contract can be signed in their home country.
The documents are submitted to the local land registry department.
The application for permission to purchase is prepared by us and forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including all necessary documents, such as: power of attorney, purchaser's proof of identity, cadastral documents, official request. All of which is in Croatian.
We will register the sale with the local tax authority.
