Croatia has a lot to offer as a holiday country. The country can be divided into different regions, each with its own scenery. The main coastal regions are: Istria, Kvaerner, Dalmatia/Zadar , Dalmatia/Middle and Dalmatia/Dubrovnik.
The coast offers many unique environments with more than 1100 islands, of which 67 are inhabited. With nearly 6000 km of shore, Croatia has one of the most beautiful coasts in Europe. Deeper into the mainland one finds the bald mountains of the Dinarian Alps and the beautiful green hills, internationally considered to be the New Tuscany, with its many vineyards and wheat fields with pine trees and cypresses.
The coastal cities are the hub of tourism and economic traffic. In all of the many villages and cities, many of them UNESCO world heritage sites, you will find great ways to enjoy your stay. In the hinterland, just across the sharp mountains, you will find peace and tranquillity, monasteries, and hunting fields. Numerous sites have been assigned for golf courses- and resorts. It is this combination of leisure and nature that makes the country a 4-season destination of the highest level.
The three main interesting area's for leisure real estate are Istria (coast and hinterland), middle Dalmatia (Zadar, Sibenik to Split , coast and islands) and South Dalmatia ( Dubrovnik area) . 90% of all search requests in the last 5 years were for these regions.
