Based on the number of touristic overnight stays, Croatia was only second to Spain, France and Italy. The war stopped the clock. Now, Croatia is recovering and quickly catching-up. Tourism is groing stably and reached the pre-war level in 2005. The (second home) real estate market is following the trend.
